The ACT Government’s Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate in partnership with the ACT Division of EIANZ holds a free lunchtime seminar on the second Tuesday of each month, alternating between the ACT Government offices in Dickson and the Renewables Innovation Hub in Civic.
Environmental and other professionals across the ACT and surrounding region are welcome to attend this seminar series. Certified Environmental Practitioners who attend will accrue CPD points.
February's seminar will explore how changing ecological patterns and processes are considered and mapped when planning to protect threatened ecological communities, life and property.
Julian Seddon, ACT Government, will present on incorporating biodiversity into fire management and Robert Speirs MEIANZ, Capital Ecology, will discuss using science in practice.
