The ACT Chapter - Australian Citizen Science Association

Come along and witness the official launch of the ACT & SE NSW Chapter and hear what is happening with Citizen Science within the ACT and surrounding area.

The Australian Citizen Science Association (ACSA) was formed to advance citizen science through the sharing of knowledge, collaboration, capacity building and advocacy.

It is a member-based community that supports, informs and develops citizen science. Citizen science involves public participation and collaboration in scientific research with the aim to increase scientific knowledge. ACSA membership is open to all.

This get together is to launch the ACT and SE NSW Chapter of ACSA. There will be 5 x 10-minute seminars which will outline the range of what is currently going on in our region followed by a chance to mingle and get to know each other.

Presentations will be followed by nibbles.
