Feb 2008 - Advancing Sustainability in Infrastructure - AGIC Event
Date: Tuesday 12 February 2008
Time: 5.00pm for 5.30pm - 7.00pm
Venue: Trackstar Office, 83 Castlemaine St; Milton, Brisbane
The Australian Green Infrastructure Council (AGIC) was formed in July 2007 by a collection of like-minded environmental professionals from industry, government & consultants involved in the infrastructure sector.
AGIC is currently preparing the business case on the need, benefits & support gathered to-date to develop a rating scheme for infrastructure.
AGIC Objectives:
• To be the catalyst for the delivery and operation of more sustainable infrastructure in Australia;
• To drive market transformation through education, training, advocacy and by recognising leading sustainable practice via a rating scheme.
AGIC invites individuals and organisations to participate and support development of a national, independent, industry built benchmarking and award scheme.
