If you are involved in any aspect of natural resources management in South East Queensland, then how are you contributing to achieving the targets of the South East Queensland Natural Resource Management Plan 2009-2031 (SEQ NRM Plan)?
This forum explained what is entailed in the SEQ NRM Plan. Either through planning, policy and strategy development, implementation programs and reporting progress, there is a huge collective effort underway. The stakeholders include state and local governments, rural bodies, infrastructure providers and utilities, NGO groups and landholders all actively aiming to manage and enhance the multitude of natural assets in SEQ.
Some questions that were addressed at this Forum were:
- How does the SEQ NRM Plan fit into the bigger regional planning picture?
- What are the various NRM targets?
- What effort is underway to achieve the targets?
- How could it occur more effectively?
