29 July 2011 - Waste Futures Forum

The Queensland Government’s Waste Strategy, and the Waste Reduction and Recycling Bill 2011, will have a significant impact on resource use efficiency and the waste and recycling industry, Local Government and business generally in Queensland. Queensland has been the only State to not have a price signal on waste disposal nor to have any serious incentives for waste avoidance and resource recovery; but that is all about to change.

Date: Friday 29th of July 2011
Where: The Pavilion Function Centre, 1 Bogan Street, Breakfast Creek
Time: Registration from 8.30am, Forum 9am-4pm
Cost: Members $165*, Non Members $195, Concession $120

The EIANZ-SEQ was pleased to offer the first major forum that will give you the complete picture on the Queensland Waste Strategy and what it meant to you. With key speakers from DERM, Local Government, waste and recycling industry and business groups this is one event not to be missed.
