Institute Insider
#295 | 30 September 2022

Welcome to this week's Institute Insider

The EIANZ Annual Conference is just under a month away and we’ve released an expanded program this week detailing the discussions that will explore what is ‘Shaping the future of the environment profession’. If you haven’t already secured your place at the conference, you can register here and there’s also the option to attend the sessions online.

A reminder that nominations are open for EIANZ Fellows and the EIANZ Merit Awards. The Policy and Standards Committee is also still interested in hearing from members who can help them progress their work.

We have some great professional development opportunities coming up at the Institute in October. The NZ Chapter will be hosting a ‘Selling your skills’ webinar next week for our students and early career professionals, the ACT Division are hosting their popular environment and soils short course the following week, and the TAS Division are hosting a webinar on Aboriginal cultural burn practices that are protecting and managing endangered grassland at Hobart Airport. Details on these and all our events can be found below and on the website.

Stay safe, stay connected.
