Welcome to this week's Institute Insider
This week, EIANZ President Vicki Brady visited Melbourne to present RMIT with their EIANZ Qualifications Accreditation Scheme testamur. RMIT’s Bachelor of Environment and Society is one of three courses accredited by the Scheme that recognises the quality of programs/courses in environmental science and environmental management. A reminder that RMIT is seeking response from EIANZ members to their Environment and Sustainability Professionals Survey. If you haven’t done so already, please consider taking 15-20 mins to share your thoughts. The survey closes on Monday.
Next week is a busy one for the Institute with in-person and online events. The VIC and WA Divisions are holding their annual general meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively; we have a great webinar on Wednesday asking ‘What is our environmentally sustainable population?’; the VIC Division are hosting their Career Insights Panel Event on Thursday; and the ACT Division are hosting their Women in the Environment ACT Network breakfast event on Friday.
We’re also looking forward to the NZ Chapter’s Biodiversity Symposium taking place in Dunedin on Thursday. It's a great program and registrations are still open for the online component so you can join from wherever you are. As always, EIANZ members receive discounts for these and all EIANZ events. You can learn more about what’s on below and on the website.
Stay safe, stay connected.
