The EIANZ Board invites members and CEnvPs to discuss the proposed changes to the EIANZ Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct
At the Institute’s 2020 Annual General Meeting, the EIANZ Board put forward a Special Resolution seeking member endorsement for proposed changes to the Code to recognise Indigenous values and practice. While there was support for the Resolution’s intent, the clear message was that further consultation was needed to examine the implications and opportunities of this important change. You can find further background information (including supporting documents) in the EIANZ President’s message dated 17 Nov 2020.
The next step
These online workshops are an opportunity to build on your understanding of the changes and what they will mean for you. We will cover in more detail why we have proposed these changes, how members and CEnvPs have responded, and how we’ve incorporated your feedback into a revised set of changes.
