Tor Hundloe is a founding member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) and was the inaugural President. Tor was awarded Life Membership of EIANZ in 1991.
Tor Hundloe was made a Member the Order Of Australia (AM) in 2003 and awarded a Centenary Medal in the same year. In 2010 he was awarded the Individual Award by the United Nations Association of Australia Associations - citation 'An Environmental Pioneer'.
He is the author of From Buddha to Bono, The Planet of the Thinking Animal, Fishing for Sustainability, The Value of Water in a Drying Climate and The Gold Coast Transformed. His most recent book, Australia's Role in Feeding the World, is due to be released in first half of 2016.
Tor is currently Emeritus Professor at University of Queensland, Adjunct Professor at the University of Central Queensland, Adjunct Professor at the University of the Sunshine Coast and Professor at Bond University.
