EIANZ Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct

All members and CEnvPs are required to comply with the EIANZ Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct (Code). Practitioners are expected to practice in accordance with the Code and accept personal accountability for their professional conduct.

The Code is central of sound environmental practice and the credibility of the profession and commits practitioners to:

  • Promote environmental principles
  • Demonstrate integrity
  • Represent and promote the profession
  • Practice competently.

Changes to the Code to incorporate Indigenous knowledge, values and rights came into effect on 1 December 2021.
