This Opportunity
Are you ready to write a new chapter in your story? Our organisation values its
people, respecting and embracing diversity and a balance between work and life commitments. Our staff are passionate about delivering outstanding environmental services to the communities throughout our diverse State.
We have an opportunity for a Team Leader (Compliance), within the Environmental Services and Regulation (ESR) division of the Department of Environment and Science. In this role you will work closely with the Compliance Delivery Manager to lead a dedicated and professional team that will be responsible for managing day-today planning, operation and support the team to meet its objectives and will have responsibility for key deliverables, while contributing to the implementation of environmental management and protection strategies and promote compliance with environmental legislation, regulations and policies.
We want YOU to join our team and contribute to our Vision.
In this role, you’ll find:
● A purpose and a challenge that matters
This is a rewarding opportunity where you can help shape Queensland’s
environmental compliance sector. Your work will certainly be challenging and contentious at times and will involve a healthy amount of detailed compliance inspections! But it’s work that truly matters, perhaps even more so because it’s hard.
● Passionate, positive, down to earth people
Reporting to the Manager, you’ll collaborate with an engaged and enthusiastic team; liaising with others to balance the needs of our stakeholders and environment. Our commitment, courage and curiosity unite us, and we believe our differences are what make us great.
