Robson Environmental, established in 1990, is Canberra's leading asbestos and hazmat consultancy within a multi disciplinary team covering environmental assessment & remediation, occupational hygiene, workplace safety, NATA accredited laboratories and a training facility. We have NATA accreditation for our hazmat surveying. 

Robson Environmental is experiencing unprecedented growth and is looking for professionals for a senior role within our contaminated land section.

The Role

We are interested in hearing from degree-qualified individuals with a proven track record in this discipline with 5 - 10 years professional experience.

The contaminated land assessment role will involve undertaking Project Management responsibilities specific to Phase 1, and 2 environmental investigations, remediation projects and management plans. This role would include directing junior staff as required and working closely with the team manager.

It is envisaged that this opportunity will suit individuals with excellent interpersonal, project management, time management and report writing skills.

Overtime/time in lieu paid at penalty rates. Consideration will be given to a re-location allowance for interstate applicants.

Essential

The successful candidate will have tertiary or post graduate qualifications in Environmental Science/ Engineering or other relevant disciplines (Geology, Soil Science, Hydrology etc.). In addition, it is essential that candidates hold a current drivers licence and desirable for the candidate to hold an ACT / NSW Assessors certification.

Desirable

Experience in the following areas will be highly regarded: Project management, desktop studies (Phase 1); sampling plan and project design; vapour, soil and water sampling from boreholes / test pits and the installation and monitoring of groundwater / vapour wells; and supervision of drilling and earth moving contractors.
