• Leading and implementing monitoring programmes relevant to contaminated land and air quality.
• Managing and archiving technical information in a digital format with an eye on quality outcomes
• Coordinating expert advice and information to manage contaminated land and air quality.
• Working collaboratively with landowners and stakeholders to promote sustainable resource management
• Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills

As a unitary authority, we offer the challenging opportunity to work in the Land and Water team that is charged with a range of environment monitoring programmes.

To be considered you need to show your:

• Understanding of contaminated land and/or air quality management practices
• Level of experience in contaminated land and natural science issue identification, monitoring, investigation and development of practical solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to customer service, teamwork and continuous improvement.

You will have at least five years relevant tertiary qualification preferably at a post graduate level in natural science discipline or equivalent.
