We currently have an opening for a full-time Environmental Restoration Project Manager / Consultant to join our Perth team to help us continue to deliver on our vision to “leave a lasting impression on landscapes and people”.

Reporting to the General Manager and department heads, you will help us achieve our core goal of delivering high quality bushland rehabilitation outcomes for our many clients around the greater Perth metro, Southwest, Midwest, Gascoyne, and Yilgarn regions. We typically co-ordinate around 80 small to medium scale projects each year with a small high-performing team.  The role requires the concurrent management of 10 – 20 of these projects in a variety of environments including coastal, wetland, riparian, and bushland areas.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project planning, site assessment, research and design;
  • Consulting to clients and preparing detailed rehabilitation and other management plans;
  • Preparation of proposals and responding to tenders and client enquiries;
  • Briefing and assisting field Project Supervisors in project implementation;
  • Progress monitoring and compliance reporting;
  • Liaison with clients, Government authorities, and other stakeholders;
  • Report writing; and
  • Mapping and GIS.

 

Education & Qualifications

  • University degree in related environmental field; and
  • Current driver’s license required.

 

Experience and Credentials

  • Ideally at least five years' experience in environmental project management and/or consulting in the environmental management field, or five years in the revegetation industry in a supervisory role;
  • Proven self-motivated and self-disciplined leader;
  • A highly organised approach and attention to detail;
  • Excellent interpersonal management and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A focus on safety and delivering quality client outcomes.
