We're now looking for a full time (permanent) Environmental Management Consultant to join us. Working within our dedicated team based in Tauranga, as the successful candidate you will work on a range of innovative projects across New Zealand and will assist us in meeting our vision to make sustainability happen by balancing the needs of land, people and water.
We’re looking for someone who believes in better and has a passion for Environmental Management. We’d love to hear from you if you have existing skills in site management and assessment, environmental compliance and risk reviews, providing support to compliance programs, and the ongoing monitoring and reporting of the same.
Relevant degree in environmental management, health & safety, environmental science or similar
As well as supporting our existing team to deliver a diverse range of environmental management and compliance projects, you will be facilitating your own project work, and providing on the ground pragmatic advice to clients and contractors alike. You will be developing your environmental compliance knowledge and skills within the broader 4Sight – Part of SLR team and ensuring you are working collaboratively with both client and internal people to deliver the right solutions. Ideally you will have a demonstrated aptitude in all aspects of environmental consulting, including the ability to work independently in the field, collate and compile data into accurate deliverables, and skills in working alongside contractors and clients. Finally, problem solving, relationship management, project work and self leadership are the key attributes you will bring to this role as well as your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and most definitely a sense of humour!
