JBS&G is currently included on a range of government and national consulting panels and contracts with government and institutional companies in addition to significant commitments to clients within the urban development, mining, oil, gas and renewable energy sectors.

JBS&G's Melbourne office has opportunities for experienced environmental impact assessment practitioners to join the growth of our Environmental Impact Assessment and Approvals team.  The successful candidates would have opportunities for involvement in projects across a number of market sectors including mining, oil and gas, urban development, Defence and industrial clients.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate for the current role will have at least three years’ experience in environmental impact assessment with the following key attributes:

Passionate about providing industry-leading environmental solutions;

Relevant degree qualifications in environmental science / environmental management or similar;

Ability to manage environmental impact assessments and approvals for a range of multidisciplinary projects;

Proven ability working with clients, projects and teams, assisting project managers to deliver projects on time, on budget and to a high standard;

Strong written and verbal communication skills;

Willingness to actively participate in our national impact assessment and approvals team;

Sound report writing and data interpretation skills;

Comply with all statutory and company HSE policies, standards and procedures, and instigate and follow safe work practices;

Willingness to travel if required;

Current Australian drivers licence.
