In keeping with our future ready commitment, the Sustainability and Climate Change team is currently supporting a growing number and variety of clients to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions footprint and build their resilience to the effects of a changing climate.
This is an opportunity for an outstanding individual to play a key role in further growing and strengthening this critical service offering.
What you’ll do:
Provide expert climate change risk and resilience of consulting to clients
Work with other WSP teams to deliver climate change and resilience input to major projects
Be our focal point for climate change risk and resilience services
Draw on your existing networks to drive the growth of our climate change and resilience offering
Contribute to the development of the business unit against strategic goals
Contribute to the professional growth of our growing team of climate change and resilience professionals
What we’ll love about you:
Degree qualified professional
Have a strong understanding of climate change; risk and resilience thinking. A good understanding of climate change mitigation is also preferable
A strategic thinker who can balance technical rigour with a view of the bigger picture
Have existing relationships with government and corporate clients
Be confident in business development and client consultation
Have outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.
Be passionate about working within a team and supporting the growth of those around you
