The Role

Lead, collaborate and inspire in this unique role which will see you growing our ANZ National Government Environmental Services offering and develop a sustainable practice with strong market presence. You will bring market and sector insights to inform the National Government End Market strategy in Australia and New Zealand.

Utilising your strong commercial acumen, you will lead high level client engagement and develop close relationships across key National Government agencies in accordance with AECOM strategy. Success will require strong client relationships with high market visibility, and high standards of service delivery to win work sustainably and maintain market position.

The role will primarily focus on National Government related markets, delivering technically-informed consulting services including: contaminated land investigation, monitoring, auditing, data management, technical advisory, remediation planning, and remediation; environmental impact assessment; heritage impact assessment and management plans; environmental management system support; and ecological investigations, monitoring and reporting. You will also promote the full range of AECOM service offerings where appropriate.

About You

With extensive industry related experience and tertiary qualification in environmental science or equivalent, you will thrive in a fast and an ever-changing business landscape. You will have demonstrated experience in project management, marketing and business development with the public sector. Demonstrated commercial acumen and strong ability to identify innovative business development opportunities are some of your key attributes. You are the holder of a Security Clearance to NV1 or you can obtain the clearance.

You are a strong strategic and technical leader with excellent interpersonal skills, who can work with and support staff of all levels with a receptive approach in order to meet and exceed team goals whilst maintaining a strong client focus.
