EIANZ Steps is a training program for early-career environmental professionals. The program is designed to develop the skills and practical knowledge of early career environmental practitioners by bridging the gap between tertiary studies and the needs of the modern workforce.
Step Program review 2016-17
As flagged in the Corporate Plan, EIANZ undertook a review of the Steps Program in late 2016, early 2017.

The review was chaired by Janice van Reyk MEIANZ and involved representatives of the EIANZ Board, Certification Board, Advisory Council, Students and Early Careers Committee and Central Office. During January and February 2017, the review committee sought input from EIANZ members and additional targeted consultation in line with the review’s terms of reference. They released their final review report in March 2017. The report contains recommendations for the future of the Steps program.
