Join the Wellington Branch of EIANZ as they present a session on the policy and practice regarding how biodiversity offsetting has evolved significantly over recent years.
Policy and practice regarding biodiversity offsetting has evolved significantly over recent years. Notwithstanding the improvements, concerns and caveats on the use of this complex impact management tool remain. This talk considers progress to date along with next steps for improving outcomes on the ground, including the prospect of biodiversity banking. In addition to this, the new national guidance on biodiversity offsetting under the RMA will be introduced. With an outline of how it was developed and what it covers.
This will be a very informative session and we hope to see many of you there.
