Presented by David Francis from Cardno, this webinar will answer all your questions about Road Ecology 101. He will touch on points in relation to

  • Its history in Australia over the past 20 years.

Meet the Presenter

David Francis | Senior Principal, Ecology | Cardno

Over the past 20 years David has been involved with the practice and
science of "road ecology". He has convened 2 national conferences on the subject including the Transport Corridors Management Conference in 1999 focusing on vegetation management and the Breaking the Barriers conference in 2009 focussing on barrier mitigation of linear infrastructure. David has also presented at international conferences including the Infra Eco Network Europe conference in Potsdam, Germany in 2012 and the International Conference of Ecology and Transportation in Seattle in 2011. He has worked on several projects in the field including the conceptural design of Cassowary crossings in Mission Beach and Innisfail, corridor wide mitigation strategies for the state signifiant Flinders to Karawatha bioregional corridor and a mitigation structure monitoring program in response to State and Commonwealth approval conditions for a road realignment associated with the Wyaralong Dam.
