Join the Vic Division of EIANZ and mycologists from Mycommunity for a trek through the forest at Mount Macedon to explore the mysterious world of mushrooms. This Fungi foray will be led by Beau Picking, an experienced mycologist from the University of Melbourne, who researched groups of macro-fungi as part of postgraduate studies.
Attendees will be led on a mycology tour, walking through the bush in Mount Macedon. The event will conclude with hot drinks and snacks at the picnic ground and the opportunity to network. To avoid excess waste, we ask everyone to BYO mug. Participants are responsible for their own transport but if you wish to attend and are stuck for transport options feel free to reach out the committee at vic.eianz.sec@gmail.com and we will see if we can arrange a ride for you with a member of the team.
