SA | Mentoring Program 2020

Have you benefited from the guidance of a senior environmental professional during your career? Now is your chance to return the favour!

EIANZ South Australian Division Mentoring Program aims to connect professional mentors and mentees, and provide guidance to help participants get the most out of their mentoring partnership. This is a great opportunity for experienced environmental professionals to provide leadership and guidance to the next generation. It is also a chance for long-standing professionals to get a fresh outlook on the industry.

We have received a great number of enthusiastic expressions of interest from young professionals and students wanting to develop their skills and aptitude for the environment industry. We are now seeking mentors with experience in the following areas:

  • Agriculture/Food Production Systems
  • Contaminated Land
  • Ecology/Conservation
  • Heritage
  • Impact Assessment and Auditing
  • Sustainability and Climate Change
  • Waste management
  • Water

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from mentors only. If you are an industry professional who has worked or is working within one of the above categories, and you would like to become a mentor, please register your expression of interest for the 2020 mentoring program by clicking on the link below. The deadline for mentor expressions of interest is Friday 28 February 2020 at 5pm.

Please also note that due to the popularity of the mentoring program, it is important that you are willing to commit to a 12 month mentoring program and will put in the effort required to be an effective and engaged mentor / mentee.
