SA | Bio-R - reconstructing quality habitat that supports declining species

Join the EIANZ SA Division who will be joined by David Paton AM. David will present on Bio-R, which is an NGO that reconstructs habitat for biodiversity. Frahn’s Farm in Monarto is their flagship restoration site in the Mount Lofty Ranges. The major aims for the site are to reconstruct habitat for declining woodland birds, establish research and monitoring projects to improve habitat reconstruction outcomes and create an accessible site for community and volunteer opportunities near Adelaide. Other current projects that Bio-R are involved in include revegetating farmland at Cygnet Park on Kangaroo Island and the glossy black-cockatoo fire recovery project also on Kangaroo Island.
