Coastal and catchment management is predominantly characterised as a technical endeavour, full of science, engineering and solutions. Using examples from the Porirua Harbour project, Keith’s presentation will attest to the vagaries and uncertainty of challenges beyond the science, to achieving (or not!) lasting positive environmental outcomes.
