NT | What’s new for the NT in environmental impact assessment?

The Environment Protection Act 2019 commenced on 28 June 2020, marking a new era in environmental impact assessment in the Northern Territory. Paul and Lisa will present on:

  • What’s new for impact assessment in the NT
  • How the roles and opportunities for participants in impact assessment have changed
  • A go-to guide to resources for impact assessment participants

Meet the speakers:

Paul Purdon is the Executive Director Environment Protection at the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). Paul provides executive support by leading the Environment Protection functions of the NT Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA), including impact assessment; environmental authorisations and licensing and environmental compliance and regulation

Lisa Bradley is the Director Environmental Assessment at DENR. Lisa leads the Environmental Assessments team to conduct the impact assessment functions of the NT EPA.

There will be no catering at this event but delegates are invited to the Ski Club after the presentation for drinks and networking.
