Come along to see how the Airport Development Group (ADG) drives sustainability and manages environmental protection within dynamic airport operations.
The field trip will include a presentation by Nick Fewster in the Mercure conference room on the airport’s sustainability strategy and reporting, then a guided tour by Nick and EcOz along a section of the Rapid Creek Conservation Reserve. The field trip will discuss biodiversity, water quality, weeds and fire. The reserve is managed by the ADG, Larrakia Rangers and environmental consultancy EcOz.
There will be networking drinks held at the Mecure after the presentation.
Meet the speaker:
Nick Fewster: Nick is the Environment and Sustainability Manager for the ADG, which owns and operates Darwin International Airport, Alice Springs and Tennant Creek airports, infrastructure, assets and hotels. Nick oversees environmental management and sustainability across these assets to ensure environmental compliance and strong sustainability performance.
