Civil disobedience, climate change and the environmental movement in Australia

Apologies, but this event has had to be postponed - please keep an eye out for the rescheduled date. Anyone who has registered will be refunded. Thank you for your interest.

EIANZ will present a slightly different take on environmental issues in this PEP talk.

Dr Piero Moraro from Charles Sturt University’s Centre for Law and Justice will present on philosophical issues around the climate change movement, with particular reference to recent cases of civil disobedience in Australia.

This is a hot topic at the moment within both government and the community, and follows on from Dr Moraro’s recent book published on the topic of Civil Disobedience, including its role in the environmental movement.

Please come along for what will be an enlightening discussion around the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of environmentalism in Australia.
