EIANZ WA Division invites you to attend an information session on the Certified Environmental Practitioner Scheme (CEnvP).

CEnvP is an initiative of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) and certifies environmental professionals as both ethical and competent.

Guest speakers Joanne Flint and Darren Murphy will provide their experiences of and insights to the CEnvP scheme. They will be joined by Tahlia Walsh and Rupert Duckworth.

Joanne is a member of EIANZ QLD Division, a Certified Environmental Practitioner and CEnvP Board member with more than 30 years of broad experience internationally, nationally and in all Australian states. Joanne was awarded Fellow of Engineers Australia in 2013 and has a strong interest in transformational change, sustainability and biodiversity conservation.

Darren Murphy is a Principal Consultant with over 30 years’ experience in environmental research, management and planning within the mining, transport and conservation industries. Darren is currently a recognised industry leader in the management of mine and asset closure studies. He has a master’s degree in Zoology and has been a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP) since 2005. As a CEnvP Darren represents the EIANZ on the Standards Australia mirror committee for development of the ISO mine closure standard. Darren is also a member of the steering committee for development of the EIANZ’s certification for land rehabilitation and is a founding member of the Closure Planning Practitioners Association.
