Whether you're an experienced environmental practitioner or a student looking to enter the industry, understanding Queensland's environmental laws is essential to ethical, impactful and professional practice.
Join EIANZ student and early career practitioners for a workshop that provides an overview of the environmental legal system, environmental impact assessment, and the practical skills of statutory interpretation.
Our workshop will be run by Dr Chris McGrath, a practising barrister and adjunct associate professor at UQ’s global change institute. Chris has extensive experience teaching environmental law and has acted in a range of environmental cases across Queensland.
This event will count as 2 points towards your EIANZ CEnvP Professional Development Log.
Do you pay your own registration costs to attend? Don't forget to keep your invoice as you may be eligible to claim your education expenses on your tax return.
