Environmental Professionals work with a number of complementary professions, including town planners. This event will provide an overview of the planning framework in Queensland including reference to the incoming Planning Act 2017. Particular focus will be given to how the development assessment rules are relevant to environmental professionals who prepare or review reports to support development applications. Insights will be offered in relation to what local government looks for in technical supporting reports.
This event is targeted towards those environmental professionals who want to build on their fundamental understanding of the planning system in Queensland and who want to better appreciate how their work contributes to the broader development application and approval process.
