Vicki Brady has been a member of EIANZ since 2008 and a Certified Environmental Practitioner since 2012. Vicki was President of SEQ Division from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this, she chaired the SEQ Division’s Students and Young Professionals and Professional Development committees. Vicki previously held a role on the National Students and Early Careers Committee (2011 - 2012) and was Deputy Chair of the Advisory Council (2014-2015). In 2012, Vicki was the winner of the Tor Hundloe Award for young environmental practitioner of the year.
Vicki has been a practicing environmental scientist for almost ten years. With experience in industry, consulting and local government across four countries, Vicki has developed strong skills in challenging good environmental practice and ensuring high ethical conduct at all times. Vicki is currently a Senior Environmental Approvals Advisor for Origin Energy, based in Brisbane, focusing on the delivery of strategic environmental approvals.
Vicki holds a Master of Arts (Honours) in Environmental Science with Physical Geography from the University of Dundee, along with a postgraduate Master of Science in Managing Environmental Change from the University of St. Andrews. Vicki's Honours research took her to the original land of ice and fire, Iceland, before further study brought her to Far North Queensland in 2006.
