Position Statements
In May 2007, the EIANZ Council decided that new policies would take the form of Position Ptatements on environmental themes. Existing Position Statements relate to Climate Change, Water, Sustainability and Energy.
Writing a position statement or policy on behalf of all members of the EIANZ and maintaining a harmony that represents the environment profession itself, is a serious task. The Institute has a Policy and Practice Standing Committee and has published Institute policies on other environmental issues in the past.
