Environmental Knowledge & Awareness Seminar

The Australian Government’s Department of Defence has a legacy of contaminated sites resulting from historical activities which need appropriate management in order to safeguard human health and protect the environment. To ensure the most effective and efficient management of land contamination on Defence sites (including site remediation) the Department has developed a comprehensive and practical guide on current best practice, guidelines and protocols for contaminated site assessment and management which underpins Defence’s environmental remediation program.
