As the world gears up for the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20), World Environment Day is an opportunity to highlight the need for a paradigm shift towards a more sustainable world. This year’s theme, “Green Economy: Does it include you?” underscores the need for everyone to play their part in keeping humankind's ecological footprint within planetary boundaries. Here’s your chance to catch up with members of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand, celebrate World Environment Day and consider the ACT’s Green Economy.
What: EIANZ ACT will celebrate World Environment Day with canapés and drinks for existing and prospective members. EIANZ ACT encourages students studying environmental fields to attend in order to meet people working in the field and learn what the EIANZ has to offer.

When: Tuesday 5 June 2012 - 6.00pm
Cost: Free for EIANZ members, Non-members pay for own drinks.
