Join us for a one hour webinar with Bryce Skarratt, Team Leader Strategic Environmental Assessment, Iron Ore Environmental Approvals at BHP Billiton, for a discussion on BHP Billiton strategic assessment of its Pilbara mining operations over the next 50-100 years.

This webinar will give a brief overview of the scope and duration of activities that will be undertaken through this strategic assessment including:

Meet the presenter

Bryce Skarratt - Team Leader Strategic Environmental Assessment, Iron Ore Environmental Approvals at BHP Billiton.

Bryce has over 23 years experience on a wide range of environmental assessment projects including Strategic Environmental Assessment, Environmental Impact Studies and environmental management for large projects including mines, major industry, dams, road and rail corridors, industrial and residential developments, wastewater treatment plants, gas pipelines and transmission lines. He has been involved in project assessment throughout Australia and internationally.

Bryce is currently leading a specialist team within BHP Billiton Iron Ore to deliver a strategic environmental assessment for their future Pilbara mining operations for the next 100+ years. This is the first time strategic assessment has been applied to mining operations in Australia, by a corporation and is one of the biggest such projects globally.
