Professional Development Workshop – Practice Ethics

Are you applying (or intending to apply) to be a Certified Environmental Practitioner (CEnvP)? Or are you a mid-career practitioner facing some ethical issues for yourself or your staff? If so, then this workshop is essential for you*.

A few hours of your time invested in this workshop will help prepare you for the certification process and the application of ethical principles in environmental decision making.

The workshop will inform you about the basis of ethical thinking, the EIANZ Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct, ethics and the public and private sectors, ethics and the law, and give you an opportunity to practice your skills in ethical decision making. Led by experienced environmental and legal practitioners, the workshop will equip you with skills to think through and resolve environmental problems in an ethical and principled manner.

Attendance at this workshop will provide you with an insight into and understanding of a key tool in your professional tool kit as an environmental practitioner.

* NOTE: This workshop is aimed at practitioners with 5 or more years of professional experience, capable of contributing ‘real world’ examples of ethical issues during workshop discussions. Under 5 years of experience - check out our Steps program.
