What's the solution to marine plastic pollution?

Industry networking night for Students and Young Professionals in Engineering, Environment, Waste Management and Water.

A multi-disciplinary event, providing the opportunity to network with fellow Young Professionals while listening to talks from three motivational professionals involved in the fight against marine plastic pollution.

The talks will focus on solutions to mitigating the threat of marine plastic pollution and encourage young industry professionals to take part in preventing plastic pollution from entering the marine environment.

Speakers:
  • Peter Whish-Wilson - Australian Senator and instigator of the senate inquiry into the threat of marine plastic pollution..
  • Heidi Taylor - Co-founder and Managing Director of Tangaroa Blue Foundation and the Australian Marine Debris Initiative.
  • TIm Silverwood - Co-founder and CEO of 'Take 3', plastic pollution campaigner and eco-entrepreneur.
