Travis is the Director of the EBS Group of companies which includes EBS Ecology, EBS Restoration and EBS Heritage. The EBS Group was founded by Travis over 11 years ago and specializes in the delivery of terrestrial ecology, cultural heritage and environment restoration projects. As the Director, Travis is actively involved in the management of each company and the projects they undertake.
Travis began his career as a Terrestrial Ecologist in the public sector, since then he has been involved in countless flora and fauna surveys as well as impact assessment projects. Travis’ passion is in fauna management but he also has extensive experience in land management and rehabilitation projects with strengths in revegetation and weed control. His experience extends across a number of industries including mining, wind farms, transport and local government. As the Director of the EBS Group, Travis’ strengths lie in business and project management and his ability to understand client requirements.
In this presentation, Travis will provide information on the current processes surrounding the implementation of the Bilateral Agreements for assessments under the Commonwealth’s EPBC Act 1999. Travis will also detail the cost recovery model that is now being implemented for assessments and show a few happy snaps of the species and communities protected under the Act.
