Introduction and Welcome

The Tasmanian Division of the EIANZ was established over 20 years ago and has 50 members across the State of Tasmania, ranging from UTAS students and staff, to environmental consultants, environmental managers, state government employees, town planners.

The key activities of the Division include the regular "What's Happening In My Backyard" Seminar Series showcasing environmental initiatives within the State. Our members are involved in judging the best essays within the Environmental Impact Assessment subject at UTAS each year. The Division also runs professional development events, provides regular e-bulletins and a more indepth Tasmanian Divisional newsletter.
