Energy for Sustainability
The Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) is hosting the ‘Energy for Sustainability’ Symposium and Networking Dinner, featuring Dr Ziggy Switkowski speaking on nuclear energy, a Lead Production Chemist on Coal Seam Gas from Brisbane, and a range of expert speakers on innovative energy and renewable energy.
Thanks to negotiations by your Vic Committee, EIANZ Members have been offered a 30% discount on this event. For $45 this event includes 8 speakers and an evening dinner. There are also student and retired member rates.
The event will be held at 3:30pm for 4:00pm - 9:40pm on Thursday 1 September 2011, at Engineers Australia, 21 Bedford Street, North Melbourne.To book, please fill out the the registration form and tick the ‘Environment Institute of Australia NZ Member’ box on the form to take advantage of your discount, quoting your member number. Please forward your registerations by this Tuesday to avoid missing out.

UNAA Sustainability Masterclass
Global Business Initiatives on Sustainability Leadership’ held in partnership with PwC and RMIT University Graduate School of Business and Law. The Masterclass will provide an overview of key global trends and UN initiatives on corporate responsibility and sustainability leadership. It will also provide a forum for networking and information exchange for corporate, government and NGO professionals working in this area and those interested in learning more about how they can get involved in global initiatives for sustainability.
