Membership Promotions Committee

The Membership Promotions Committee is responsible for promoting the Institute within the environment profession with a view to increasing the membership of the Institute. Increasing membership is fundamental to the Institute achieving its stated Mission.

The Committee is drafting a marketing strategy for the Institute which will identify our key targets for recruiting new members and how they can best be targeted. An initial focus will be on government employees (federal, state and local) as an under-represented group. As membership retention is equally, if not more important, the Committee is also reviewing the goods and services available to members to see how we can make the benefits of Institute membership even more attractive.

The Committee holds a monthly one hour teleconference. Between teleconferences, we would expect members to dedicate around three or four hours over the month to committee work.
