Australian Capital Territory Division

Welcome to the ACT Division webpage. The ACT division is unique in the ability to bring together private and government sector environmental practitioners to work closely on environmental issues.

The division welcomes in a new committee for 2009-10 to bring ACT members a full professional development program for the upcoming 12 months. A big thankyou goes to Andrew Chalklen, the divisions outgoing secretary who has provided the division with invaluable service over the years.

The committee brings together private and government sector practitioners who work closely together to bring the ACT region further professional development and social networking opportunities for members spread across the capital region, the Monaro, the Snowy Mountains and the Sapphire Coast.

The Division is hosting two major events within the next 6 months the Institute Annual Conference 'Policy to Practice - Achieving Better Environmental Outcomes' in October and the Climate Change Boot Camp in March.
